Steps from your garden in to the 15 acres of our woodland.

Thousands of trees to spot, among which is a grove of White Poplar.
An area of silver birch.

scots pine, wych elm, sycamore, lime, hawthorn,
horse chestnut, wild cherry, rowan, wild privet, holly, elm,

beech
sessile oak,
goat willow on original pony and cart track.

Wild flowers, wild fruit.

You could spend the whole holidays up the woods, there's so much of nature to explore.

A valley, a small stream, rustic bridge, walks, picnics.

Lots of walks through trees or meadows.

Steam train

4488 Union of South Africa

The Oliver Cromwell (shiny black engine) was seen from our holiday cottage window today.
It's returning through Inverkeithing around 8.30p.m. and over the historic Forth rail bridge.
Will try and get a better photo for you. This one you can just see a puff of smoke at base of tree.
